As with each year, we will be offering workshops for both linear salsa styles (NY, LA, PR) and Cuban traditional, popular and religious dances. Our aim is always to keep the targeted information for people, respecting the level of dancing and style. Moreover, we talk with our instructors and base the workshops schedule so it makes sense for the participating student, giving him/her the right material to improve his/her dancing skills. Having such a great team of artists we do not have any doubts that they will give additional quality to our event and successfully transfer to You a great part of their knowledge.
We will be having 2 EXTRA DAYS of workshops and other activities in the days prior to the festival 2009. This is the GREAT OPPORTUNITY for the dancers who want to learn more and still have some quality enjoyment time on the beach! We have invited some of the best professional instructors specially for this occasion earlier to Rovinj. Needless to say these will be HIGH QUALITY classes which you will be able to attend with FREAK PASS (already in sales) or with a special PRE-FESTIVAL 'SPECIAL' workshop pass (already in sales). We also offer upgrade from Your current pass to include these days too.
Having a lot of experience from other congresses, getting the feedback from the students on our festivals and also applying knowledge gained on our own teaching courses during the year, results each year in a better and better structure of workshops. We like to think of it as student-oriented, and not just market-oriented. Our last years workshop concept seemed to be very good accepted by students and teachers alike so this year we will follow the same concept with some slight changes and new workshops to offer even greater quality.
So, the main features of our workshop concept are:
- offer complete separate program for linear style and Cuban dances
- introduced block hours (two hours with same instructor) which allows for progressive build up of the knowledge and improved structure of teaching

ADDITIONAL TEACHING HALL - HOTEL KATARINA ON ISLAND ACROSS ROVINJ!
First 2 years, we have used 4 halls for workshops. Last year we have used 6 halls for workshops and still we needed to close down the registration because of too many people registering. We are now introducing an additional hall on an Katarina island in Hotel Katarina. It is a hotel in the island in bay of Rovinj, 5 min with boat and here the beginner and improver classes will be held. This additional hall will greatly contribute to Your satisfaction as we will all have more space to work with.
BETTER AIR CONDITIONING ON WORKSHOPS AND PARTIES!
We have taken steps to increase Your satisfaction on workshops even more by adding additional equipment for air conditioning. We are aware that this was one of things that strongly influenced your satisfaction on some of the parties and workshops. As our festival is happening in summer time it is not a simple thing to cool everything down but we will do our best to keep the air in workable conditions! Thank you for your understanding!

POOL PARTY
Tickets will be sold in FESTIVAL OFFICE all days of festival. BUY Your tickets before SUNDAY and going to boat!
