Ana has been part of the salsa scene for eight years, ever since she took her first steps in Washington, D.C., where she lived at the time. She later became a member of the professional group of the world-renowned Masacote Dance Company in Boston. She trained under Ana and Joel Massicot for almost two years, while obtaining her Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. Since her return to Croatia four years ago, Ana has been active in the salsa community. In cooperation with the Salsazone=Fever team, she brought Melissa Rosado to Zagreb for a weekend of workshops, helping improve exposure to the On2 style in Croatia. Currently, Ana is working on several performance projects - she has been choreographing a student group as well as working with some of the most advanced dancers in Croatia on a routine.
Ana also regularly participates in professional conferences in her field of work - nonprofit and public sector management. She is looking forward to moderating the panel and helping DJ's and dancers come together to share ideas and make our great community even better. Que viva la salsa!
