José Carlos will make his debut at CSSF this year, bringing an energy that’s impossible to resist. We challenge you to stay calm when he starts dancing!

José Carlos Leguen is renowned for his dynamic Afro-Cuban style and energetic moves.
He began his artistic journey at the age of 7 in Cuba, and by 17, he joined the professional Ballet Folklórico Babul.
Later, he became the principal dancer of the Ban Rarra company in Havana, which integrates Haitian roots into its dance. At 26, he joined the Rakatan company, a high-energy slice of Havana culture.
José Carlos has also worked with the Adonis and Osain del Monte rumba group and the Raíces Profundas company and any more.
He continues to perform at dance congresses around the world.
This year, he will present his work through workshops and a show performance—both solo and together with Addy Mendoza.
Their show performance promises a real energy bomb!
