Willy & Jessy

Born in Florence, Jessica began dancing at age 4, inspired by her parents, who ran one of the best dancing schools in Tuscany. She competed in various styles, such as contemporary dance, hip hop, and Latin American.

She took part in many dance competitions and also won the Italian Championship in 2012 and 2015. At 20, she started studying Salsa and Bachata, and in 2022, she joined Johnny Vazquez's “Imperio Azteca” and performed at major Salsa festivals worldwide.

She began dancing with Willy Arey in 2023, and they now travel the world performing and teaching. In Rovinj, you can learn from them in their workshops.

Born in Mexico, Willy Arey grew up surrounded by salsa music and dance, inspired by his father, Memo Arey, a renowned salsa dancer in their city. He started his professional career at 17, influenced by Johnny Vazquez and Ramón Morales. Later, Willy had the opportunity to dance with Johnny Vazquez, travelling the world with his "Imperio Azteca" group. Throughout his career, Willy has earned multiple top placements in international Salsa competitions and is the creator and promoter of "Rumbafest", a Salsa festival in Mexico that has been running since 2012.
