Taking advantages of what Croatia and Rovinj can offer most, we have successfully created a UNIQUE SEA, SUN & SALSA event. The Event activities involve not just workshop halls and hotels but the whole town of Rovinj where places like main town square, MMC hall, narrow coastal streets and hotel pools become colorful and vibrant scenery of what we call CROATIAN SUMMER SALSA FESTIVAL! Like last years we are going to dance the night away on open air salsa parties, surrounded by romantic architecture of the Main Plaza enjoying Latin beats mixed with the sounds of the sea…
Establishing ourselves in last 8 years as one of the leading salsa events in Europe we have accepted responsibilities to develop and push forward the salsa dancing scene. So, we gladly have decided that for the FIRST TIME IN CROATIA we include the well accepted concept of STARGATE CHALLENGE, a competition where public and jury decide the best team(s) to perform and win prizes! So, if you are a couple wanting to show off your talent or a group who have a good show (whatever style of salsa you dance) and want to share it with the world, accept the challenge, BE PART OF IT!. Of course, the whole concept will be in our, Sea, Sun & Salsa, style, Check it out on STARGATE CHALLENGE!
DAY BY DAY ITINERARIES!
DAY 1 (start with pre-festival days open-air party)
Wednesday. The pre-festival workshops are starting afternoon so you have time to make it on time! Remember, ONLY TOP ARTISTS are teaching these workshops. Not to miss!
DAY 3 (pre-festival workshops + CONCERT)
Thursday. The last day of pre-festival workshops and the night when the concert of TOP LIVE BAND takes place! If you are not already here what are you waiting for?!?!!!
DAY 4 (festival workshops + GRANDE FIESTA & SHOWS)
Friday. Lots of stuff is going on on this day! You can choose from all day long workshops, IN2MUSIC - International Conference of MUSIC & DANCE, well known GRANDE FIESTA on the main town square, AFTER PARTY ON 3 FLOORS...or just simply take it all!!
DAY 5 (festival workshops + SATURDAY PARTY!)
Similar as Friday. After sleep either GO TO BEACH or WORKSHOPS or combine both. Make sure you show up on party in time as shows start pretty early! Continue dancing on 3 floors: CUBAN, SALSA & SENSUAL FLOORS!
DAY 6 (festival workshops + POOL PARTY)
Sunday. Not yet enough of parties?? Well today you can party all day long...with few workshops before noon Sunday is reserved for partying. On the St. Andrews island you will experience unforgetable POOL PARTY and at the evening you can dance out the night on the CHILL OUT party.
Tickets will be sold in the FESTIVAL OFFICE all days of the festival. BUY Your tickets before SUNDAY / before going to the boat for the POOL PARTY!
WORKSHOP PROGRAM & INFO! You will be able to choose from workshops for both linear and Cuban salsa styles including all their varieties and beauty (NY, LA, PR, Cuban traditional, popular and religious dances). Our aim is always to keep the targeted information for people, respecting the level of dancing and style.
As the summer is closing fast you might reserve the accommodation and your festival pass really soon, not only because you WILL SAVE money, but also because it might be really hard to find accommodation once the summer is close. Rovinj is very attractive place and many tourist come ti visit it...
