A glimpse into history

The native settlers of what is now known as Istria, the Histri, successfully cultivated the noble plants and mastered wine production. A proof of this is a legend, according to which the Argonauts, famous Greek seafarers in search of the Golden Fleece exclaimed kalavojna, which in a loose translation from Greek means good wine. Where? On the coast of Istria, at the place along the Bay of Raša which even today bears that name. What has made Istria a synonym for good wine? Man’s hard work, naturally, but first of all natural features that guarantee high-quality grapes. Those are position, soil, climate and relief, since each contributes to a certain extent to the charm of good wine.

Wine and dine the Roman style

Have you ever partied in a vineyard? Sounds crazy? Well trust us, it sure is meant to sound like that :) This party trip will definitely add up some meaning to the word “experience” - cause you will want to tell your grandchildren about this one (or not :)). Secret Vineyard Party is a perfect combination of a rich Istrian history, culture overwhelmed with delicious recipes and food and the perfect party crowd “fueled” with original Istrian vines, moving to the Caribbean tunes brought to you by your favorite mood setters - DJ Ozy and DJ Sezar! Have a taste of original Istrian delicacies, some pretty amazing (awarded) vines and dance the afternoon away in a vineyard! Pretty awesome, huh? :)

Useful info

• SECRET VINEYARD PARTY is a part of our Experience Croatia special events and is not included in any other festival pass
• tickets are sold on first come first serve basis and you can buy them in our webshop
• you will pick up your tickets in the registration office
• once you've bought your ticket, it cannot be reimbursed or exchanged for something else
• you're not allowed to bring your own food and drinks
• feel free to bring blankets - and take a break from the partying with an amazing view over the vineyard
• make sure you wear appropriate shoes; you'll have a stone floor to dance on, but walking around in your dance shoes is maybe not the best idea
• wear something cozy, "summery", and take sunscreen! :)
• and most importantly:
