VOLUNTEERS DEPOSIT

In the last couple of years the number of our volunteers has increased a lot. With this happening, the number of problems has also increased, which has complicated the organization process - and this is something that we cannot allow ourselves to happen, since there are enough problems without these, rather unnecessary ones. Therefore, once you’ve been accepted as a volunteer you'll be asked to pay a 70 EUR deposit in order to reserve your spot as volunteer. The deposit WILL BE REFUNDED COMPLETELY upon the successful completion of your shifts.

Why do I have to pay a deposit?
We want your time and effort, not your money!! The festival depends on our amazing volunteers, so it is very important that everyone shows up on time for their assigned shifts. We need to have some sort of security that our volunteers are going to show up, on time, and do the jobs that they agreed to do.

SHORT DESCRIPTIONS OF YOUR TASKS:

PART TIME JOBS (up to 5 hours per day) 

Wardrobe Officer

• TASKS: taking care of people’s personal belongings during the evening parties
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English
• WORKING AREA: wardrobe Adris Old Tobacco Factory
• YOU GET: festival pass + festival T-shirt

Security officers at workshop entrances

• TASKS: Checking if all the participants have the right wristband and if the conditions (air conditioning, light, enough water for the instructors) in the venue are fine
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English
• WORKING AREA: workshop venues
• YOU GET: festival pass + festival T-shirt

Info desk

• TASKS: providing basic info on the festival program, venues, instructors, working hours, etc.
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, kind, polite, you speak English; preferably not in Rovinj for the first time
• WORKING AREA: Hotel Park office
• YOU GET: festival pass + festival T-shirt

Lunch/Dinner lists

• TASKS: You have to know the instructors :)
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English, you know the instructors
• WORKING AREA: Hotel Park restaurant
• YOU GET: festival pass + festival T-shirt

FULL TIME (6-8 hours per day)

All full time volunteers get: official festival accreditation with which you will be able to enter all workshops and parties; accommodation; approx. 10 euros per day for food, festival T-shirt

Office registrations team

• TASKS: registering festival participants and providing info on festival activities and locations
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English; you’ll have to learn to use our registrations system (no big deal ;)
• WORKING AREA: office Hotel Park + office Adris Old Tobacco Factory

Drivers

• TASKS: driving instructors from the airports and between workshop venues
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English; you have a car and a drivers licence; you have to get acquainted with the town of Rovinj
• WORKING AREA: wherever we send you :)

Security officers at the entrance to the parties

• TASKS: checking tickets at the entrance
• SKILLS NEEDED: you’re communicative, reliable, you speak English
• WORKING AREA: Adris Old Tobacco Factory

Selling festival T-shirts

• TASKS: doesn't the title say it all? :)
• SKILLS NEEDED: you're communicative, reliable, you speak English
• WORKING AREA: Adris Old Tobacco Factory and Hotel Park

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FULL TIME VOLUNTEERS - you may be asked to help somewhere else if there will be need, so make sure you're flexible about that. Sometimes your shift will also be shortened if there won't be anything to do, so we hope it won't be a problem if you're asked to help your fellow volunteer in need if you don't have anything to do :)

2. PART TIME SSD - security officer at workshops entrances (prefestival days) - we need you on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th June.

YOU GET: SSD FULL PARTY PASS

3. PART TIME SSD - security officer at workshops entrances (festival days) - we need you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (19th-21st June)

YOU GET: WORKSHOPS ON SSD PREFESTIVAL DAYS AND AN SSD FULL PARTY PASS

4. PART TIME CSSF -  info desk - we need you from Wednesday 24th June till Sunday 28th June.

YOU GET: CSSF FREAK PASS

5. PART TIME CSSF - security officer at workshops entrances (prefestival days) - we need you on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th June.

YOU GET: CSSF FULL PARTY PASS

6. PART TIME CSSF - security officer at workshops entrances (festival days) - we need you on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (26th-28th June)

YOU GET: CSSF COMBO PASS

7. FULL TIME - office registrations team (SSD+CSSF) - we need you EITHER from 16th June till 30th June OR from 23rd June till 29th June (YOU CHOOSE ONE OF THESE TWO PERIODS)

8. FULL TIME - driver + security officer at the entrance to the parties (SSD+CSSF) - we need you EITHER from 16th June till 30th June OR from 23rd June till 29th June (YOU CHOOSE ONE OF THESE TWO PERIODS)

9. FULL TIME - selling T-shirts - we need you from 16th June till 30th June
