Jorge started dancing when he was 8 years old. A dozen years later he created a professional dancing group which later became the folk dances ballet of the city Camaguey (Ballet Folklorico de Camagüey). Jorge has his own inherent different-from-other’s style of dancing- it is the mixture of dances , the guaguanco son which is the mixture of casino, folk dances, rumba and hip-hop with the prevalence of rumba. Next to all dancing styles mentioned, son strongly influenced his dancing, as he has been dancing it from the very childhood. Today Jorge is the mentor and the inspirer of many salsa dancers all around the world as well as the Barcelona Guaguancó Festival organizer.

Rosalía GT started off at the age of 8 in rhythmic gymnastics and after completing her training in Latin dances (salsa, chachachá, merengue and bachata), she learnt to dance the son cubano and rumba cubana, and she improved her knowledge about rueda de casino. She also has studied flamenco, tango, samba and folk Cuban dances. In 2009 she began her artistic career in the salsa scene with the group “Calle Real” de Jorge Camagüey. Within this group she has learnt folk (danzasyoruba, congo y dahomeñanas) and popular (mambo, son, chachachá, mozambique, timba, cubatón) Cuban dances with most of the bests Cuban dancers in Europe. Rosalía is a dancer full of energy and always smiling who has worked for several artist projects as a model for photo shootings and as an actress.
